Lately, I’ve been adding more artisan keycaps to my collection, and two of the pieces I’ve been especially excited about are these Pompompurin keycaps by Lolicaps. As someone who’s always loved Sanrio characters, I couldn’t pass up the chance to have this little guy(s)!

I have a soft spot for Pompompurin as I used to have a Golden Retriever. Pompompurin reminds me of him. Every time I see this Sanrio character, it reminds me of him. There’s something about that round face and laid-back expression that brings back warm memories.

Fun fact: Pompompurin is a golden retriever who loves wearing his signature brown beret and hiding his owner’s shoes; such a mischievous little guy!

Adding to My Sanrio Keycap Collection

First Impressions

There were three designs in total, but I ended up choosing Overnight and Bumper. The Bakery one was absolutely adorable too, but I figured I’d save on the (keyboard) calories this time. Priorities, right? 😂

When the keycaps arrived, I was really impressed by how well-crafted they were. The details are clean and the colors are spot on. Unboxing them was a joy and so full of cuteness.
