Keycap Series: December Artist Featuring Lolicaps

As mentioned in the first post, this is the month about gifts and giving, and since sharing is caring, we will have 2 artists for the month of December! Hailing from Thailand, the bonus featured artist for the month is Lolicaps from Vietnam! 

They started their journey on Instagram in 2022 and have been producing unique and adorable animal, cartoon and food themed artisan keycaps made of resin epoxy and using various techniques which make each of their keycap designs really standout from each other. 

They operate solely via Google forms and Raffle Sales, which if you are unfamiliar with is just a way of balloting for a chance to purchase the limited (quantity) adorable creations. Once selected, you would have to make the payment within the stipulated time or risk getting banned from the next sale.

There is the occasional fulfillment or group sales, where there is more quantity or perpetually ongoing. And this was what got to me get my first artisan keycaps from Lolicaps . They also occasionally have giveaways, and that was my first encounter with them. I love their motto "SWEET BUT PSYCHO" where they go on to explain that Lolicaps  is a combination of an innocent lollipop and reckless Lolita.

They have really unique and adorable designs, and the first one which caught my eye was the Mermaid Pusheen Artisan Keycap! 

The process to procure it was pretty straight forward, fill out the form with the necessary information and wait for the invoice. Payment is via PayPal and should be made within 24 hours, else you’d be banned from further sales. The order would take about 3-4 weeks or slightly longer,  so do take note of that.

 What I appreciate about Lolicaps is that although they are setting their pricing in US$, they actually make it a little more affordable for those in the country they reside in. For those in Vietnam, the shipping fee is free while for the rest of the world it is from US$10-15.
