If you're planning a holiday and checking in luggage, a smart tag is one of those gadgets you hope you'll never need but will be glad you packed. The UGreen Smart Tag quietly stayed attached to my suitcase throughout my Lisbon trip, giving me extra reassurance during multiple flights and airport transfers.
Planning my recent May trip to Lisbon was a bit stressful as it was more a work trip than for leisure (and it was last minute, we only have about 3 weeks notice). It has been more than three years since I last travelled overseas, and this time I was heading on my longest journey in years.

The idea was wonderfully simple (and so much more cheaper than an Apple tag). All that needs to be sone is attach the tag to what you want to track, pair it with Apple's Find My network, and enjoy a little extra reassurance. It was perfect fit for the tip.

💗 My Quick Verdict
Did I end up needing to use it to recover lost luggage? Thankfully, no. But that's exactly why I consider it a worthwhile travel companion. Knowing I could quickly check where my luggage was throughout such a long journey gave me extra peace of mind before every flight, particularly while waiting at baggage claim, and during transit. Sometimes, the best travel gadgets are the ones you hope you'll never actually need.
