Sound Test: Epomaker Galaxy100 Dessert for the Ears

The Epomaker Galaxy100 Grey coloryway has this nostalgic retro vibe that is especially endearing. With its rotary knob, satisfying layout, and solid 2kg weight, this keyboard feels sturdy and premium straight out of the box. And while the 19 RGB lighting modes are fun to play with (especially when I want to add a pop of color to my setup), I usually keep them turned off to stay focused but when I do turn them on, it’s an instant mood boost!

Typing on the Epomaker Wisteria Linear Switches reminds me of the feeling you get when biting into a fresh slice of cloud cake — soft, fluffy and smooth. If you’ve tried the Flamingo Linear Switches before (on the Epomaker TH99), the Epomaker Wisteria Linear Switches  are like their slightly sweeter, airier cousin. Both are great, just different flavors of satisfying!

Sound Test: Epomaker Galaxy100

The Epomaker Wisteria Linear Switches have a light actuation force (around 43g), so typing feels effortless. Pair that with the pre-lubed stabilizers and gasket-mounted design, and you’ve got a recipe for a sound that’s soft, poppy, and delightfully non-intrusive.

When I first did a sound test for this keyboard, I couldn’t stop smiling. Each keystroke was a gentle thock: not too deep, not too loud, just the perfect balance that gives you audio feedback without overwhelming your ears.
