It was the 4.4. April Lazada sales, so I thought why not give myself a birthday present by getting a pink keyboard? It just so happened that the the Weikev Lucky65 V2 was on sale for about S$70. It usually is about US$79-94, so of course it was a steal.
I’ll never tire of that moment when I open a new keyboard and the Weikev Lucky65 V2 in pink did not disappoint. The pink was a little more darker than I expected but it still felt like holding a piece of candy-colored engineering perfection.
Aside from the gorgeous pink version I picked up, the Lucky65 V2 is also available in:
The Weikev Lucky65 V2 kit in pink stole my heart the moment I unboxed it. Between its stunning sweet pink finish, smooth screwless assembly, it’s easily one of my favorite 65% kits so far. The fact that it comes as a barebones kit meant I had full creative control. So I paired it with Bubblegum Linear switches and Pastel Chaos keycaps.

- White / Cold White

Pastel Chaos Keycaps
The Pastel Chaos keycaps are Cherry Profile which makes them comfortable for typing. This set is bursting with pastel energy, with a chaotic blend of candy tones and unique legends. They are made out of PBT which is resistant to wear and fading, providing a long-lasting and vibrant typing experience. If you are interested the keycaps or even a whole mechanical keyboard with switches and keycaps, don't forget to check out Mari's Pastel Chaos!
Typing on this board feels buttery-smooth, and the combination of gasket mount, layered dampening foams, and my chosen switches makes it both satisfying and quiet.
Sound Test
💖Loves
- Tri-mode connectivity (wired, 2.4ghz wireless & Bluetooth).
- The catch-ball-catch structure for enhanced stability and solid typing experience.
- Minimalist 65% layout that saves desk space without compromising functionality.
- VIA/QMK support.
- Hot-swappable switches.
💔Not so much
- The stock stabilizers, especially on the spacebar which is mushy and has a delayed response, but that could probably be because of too much lubricant. It should even out after a couple of times hitting the spacebar (more often).
- Non-user friendly way of turning on the keyboard (hidden beneath the Tab key).
- The magnetic press storage system for the 2.4G receiver is weak and can feel lose since the magnetism is not too strong.
