The Artist of the Month for May is nunkeyhouse, who is based in South Korea and is relatively new to the scene. To date they just created their first two designs the GRYLLS Raincoat artisan keycap and GRYLLS Mafia.

nunkeyhouse doesn’t just make artisan keycaps, they tell stories in the form of GRYLLS:

GRYLLS is a clever little bear from a quiet village, whose world changes when a portal to the multiverse suddenly opens. He starts meeting countless versions of himself from different worlds - each with their own unique style and personality. Join forces with the many GRYLLS to design the ultimate keyboard, one that's as bold and creative as they are.

GRYLLS Raincoat has sweet pastel tones and a cute bear face. There were only 6 of these little cuties, so I was fortunate enough to be able to get one of these little cuties!

They recently also launched a new design GRYLLS Mafia, a cute but dark take where shadowy charm meets devilish detail in the shades of black and red.

For the design, precision to color matching and effort that goes into the GRYLLS keycap, the GRYLLS Raincoat artisan keycap cost me US$80. Together with shipping, it was a total of US$93.28 (S$128.02). There was a slight issue with the address (no unit number), but thankfully Singpost was easily contactable and the delivery was re-scheduled for re-delivery.

When the parcel arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the premium packaging: the pink wrapper and galaxy themed set the tone for the unboxing. Inside the box, besides the sweet GRYLLS Raincoat artisan keycap, there were cards and stickers; a really nice touch.
