If you have been following my content for a while, you might have noticed that I do not stick to just one mechanical keyboard. My desk setup changes from time to time, and so does the keyboard I use.
This is not because I am constantly chasing the next new thing. It is simply because different keyboards suit different moods, tasks, and vibes. Over time, I realised that rotating keyboards makes my workspace feel more enjoyable, fun and fresh.
Different Layouts for Different Days
Not all keyboards feel the same to use, even if they look similar at first glance.
Some days, I prefer a full-size or compact full-size keyboard when I am doing longer work sessions or anything that involves numbers. On other days, a smaller 65 percent or 75 percent layout feels more relaxed and easier on my desk space.
Ergonomic layouts like Alice keyboards also come into my rotation when I know I will be typing for hours. The slight angle makes a noticeable difference in comfort, especially during busy workdays.
Rotating Keeps My Desk Feeling Fresh
It also lets me pair different keyboards with artisan keycaps or themed keycap sets. This keeps my workspace feeling cozy and inspiring.
Not Everything I Own Is Used All the Time
Not not every keyboard I own is on my desk every day. Some keyboards are in active rotation, while others are used less frequently or saved for specific purposes. That does not make them less meaningful as each one taught me something about layout, comfort, or what I personally enjoy when typing.☁️ The Mechanical Keyboards I Actually Use
I get asked a lot about the keyboards you see across my photos, reels, and desk setups, so I put together a page with all the mechanical keyboards I personally own and use, organized by layout. This page is not a buying guide. It is just a reference based on real use and personal preference.
Owning and rotating multiple mechanical keyboards might not be for everyone, and that is perfectly okay. For me, it is part of creating a desk setup that feels comfortable, cozy, and personal.
