It’s amazing that it’s been two years since I first dove into the world of mechanical keyboards. What started as simple curiosity, wondering why a click sounded so satisfying or why a key felt different under my fingers, has grown into a full-on passion and a journey I could not have imagined.
Over these past two years, I’ve gone from buying my first keyboard to customizing my own setups with a variety of switches and keycaps, learning about different layouts, and exploring the endless combinations that make each keyboard feel unique. From tactile bumps to smooth linear switches, and high-pitched clacks to mellow thocks, I’ve discovered that every keyboard has its own sound profile with each one telling it's own story.
To bring this journey to life, I’ve created 6 photo collages capturing the highlights:

Along the way, I’ve been incredibly blessed to find a supportive community. Sharing builds, swapping tips, and talking switches with fellow enthusiasts has been such a rewarding part of this hobby. I’ve made cozy and kind “keeb” friends who have inspired me, challenged me, and celebrated each new build with me.
One of the highlights has been discovering wonderful artists who pour their creativity into artisan keycaps. Their work transforms a keyboard into a tiny, functional piece of art, and I’ve had the joy of featuring some of these amazing creators in my Artisan Monthly Spotlight. Each keycap tells a story, and owning them makes every typing session feel special.
I’ve also had the chance to try out more keyboards than I could have ever imagined, from compact 65% layouts to full-size boards with every possible feature. Each keyboard taught me something new: from the design, functionality, all the way to the joy of creating a setup that truly reflects my personality.

As I look ahead to 2026, I cannot wait to see what this year will bring! Mechanical keyboards have taught me that the little things (like the perfect switch feel or a unique keycap) can bring unexpected joy, and I’m grateful for every click and clack along the way.
So, what are you wishing for in the new year? Whether it’s in your hobbies, your work, or your life, I hope 2026 brings discovery, creativity, and a touch of magic to every day!
